I’ve been very remiss in writing for this blog, but frankly I just haven’t had anything to say! My determination to “diet or get off the scale” lasted about two days, and though I haven’t gained, I haven’t lost. I fluctuate between 193 and 196 and really haven’t felt motivated to work on losing more at the moment.
I tell myself this is because I’m “getting used to my new body.” Well, maybe that IS true in a way. My main goal right now is to be able to eat normally (without counting calories or giving it too much thought) and still not GAIN weight. Once I do that, and reach a kind of homeostasis, I’ll focus on losing again.
Until then, I’m going to take a break from this blog. I’ll report back in when I achieve my next “mini-goal” of dropping below 190. Hopefully, that will be fairly soon!






Thanks for the words of encouragement. No, I haven’t lost more weight — but at least I haven’t gained it all back. I took last year “off” and now I’m back on my attempt to change my eating habits and lose more. Down a few pounds since the new year but I haven’t yet cracked the 189 mark. When I do, hopefully, I’ll begin blogging again. That seemed to really help keep me on track.
It’s never easy to lose weight. But you can do it! – just believe in it and fight for it. I see that your post is old – so I hope you have lost weight and feel good
